The New England Classic has had a long relationship with Camp Carefree because we love its mission and its impact. The Camp’s mission is to provide a fun-filled, educational camping experience for children with diabetes that will help them to develop and maintain active, healthy lifestyles.
The American Diabetes Association established Camp Carefree in New Durham, New Hampshire in 1976. Since then the camp has served more than 4,000 campers. Each summer the camp hosts over 130 campers ages 7 – 16. With caring and experienced program and medical staff, campers are supervised and encouraged to embrace new challenges through discovery, adventure and play.
