The New England Classic Charity Bike Tour, Inc. (NECCBT) was formed as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2021 in order to continue the New England Classic, after the American Diabetes Association had decided to stop sponsoring this fundraising cycling event. Our sponsors provide us with donations of cash or in-kind goods and services that help support our mission and make our ride a great one.

Our gear truck is the key to all of our ride logistics. , transporting riders’ luggage and all of our supplies from point-to-point each day. The truck also serves as a our gathering place for refreshments at the end of each day’s ride.

We could not do this great ride without a great deal on a great truck, and Penske Truck Rental has been our gear truck partner all allong, and also for many years when we ran this event under the ADA’s Tour de Cure umbrella.

The Courtyard by Marriott Boston – Billerica/Bedford generously provides our start/finish line for the New England Classic Charity Bike Tour, including parking for riders. Stay with them the night before or when you return!

We will continue to support the more than 34 million Americans living with diabetes by donating the net proceeds of the 2025 NEC to the American Diabetes Association, with a percentage of the proceeds earmarked for the ADA’s Camp Carefree in New Durham, New Hampshire.
