The New England Classic is a cycling adventure that gets under your skin. It might be one of the hardest things you ever do… but it will also be one of the most rewarding. That’s why so many NEC riders come back year after year. We call them the “Caravan of Crazies,” and it wouldn’t be July if we didn’t see them on their bikes and ready for a new year’s adventure.

“A beautiful ride with the best rider support ever! You build some lasting friendships and, it raises money for a great cause too!  My cycling group and I have come all the way from North Carolina twice for the NEC.”

Jenni Sweet, Raleigh, North Carolina
“The NEC was well worth the trip for me as it was a cycling journey of a lifetime, that also helped the ADA in its important crusade to fight diabetes. It was a rewarding challenge, one that was so much fun.”
Will Haines, Brockport, N.Y.

“It’s a chance to meet some of your new best friends that you only see once a year. This has become like a second family to me.”

Kevin Sharland, Plymouth, Mass.

“The New England Classic was the best week of my year.  The routes were well-planned, diverse and gorgeous. The riders and volunteers were friendly and encouraging, like the good parts of a big family.  The daily rides can be challenging or relaxed, depending on how you feel that day and the pack you choose.  Take this ride!”

Norman Gwinn, Pearland, Texas

“It’s the hardest ride I’ve ever done and it’s the loving and caring spirit of the people riding and crewing that keep me wanting to come back.”

Betsy Reiser, Columbia, Maryland

“It’s a really, really, really great ride with the best volunteers south of the North Pole! Great riding great camaraderie and one amazing cause!  Let’s find a cure!!!”

Nancy Marchand, Dracut, Mass.

“Help fight diabetes – Win!  Challenge yourself – Win!  Improve your health and stamina – Win!  Meet & share the experience with great riders and volunteers – Win!”

Lindsay Adrain, Swansea, Mass.

“All I can say is that the ride is beautiful and fun and has given me many of the people I love best in my life.”

Tara Swinchatt, Westfield, Mass.
