Volunteers are crucial to the success of the New England Classic. We have no paid event staff, so every aspect of the ride is managed and overseen by smart, dedicated volunteers. We ask you to give up a weekend, or a full week, of your precious time to be part of this great adventure. So we DON’T ask you to do any fundraising, as all the cyclists are required to do.
Yes, we’ve had volunteers throughout the years who have chosen to raise funds from family, friends and colleagues – in fact, a few volunteers have been among our top fundraisers. But it is NOT required; your time, commitment and teamwork are enough to help guarantee a successful ride. And a successful ride means that, as an organization, we meet our goals and raise significant funds to support individuals with diabetes.
Your accommodations and meals are covered, too. Your only expenses will be your personal travel to the starting line and back home, and your lunch each day. If you’ve got a big heart, a sense of adventure, and the desire to be part of something really special, please reach out to us today and let us tell you more about volunteering for the New England Classic!
