Here’s most of the info I’ve just sent to the people that have already expressed interest or RSVP’ed. I live in Southern NH (Exit 3 off or Route 93) and this route passes within sight of the MA border in a couple of places- It’s NOT remote!

I have directions that will get you to my street, I’ll post signs to lead you to the parking area.
BBQ lunch and swim to follow at either Gearman’s house, or the Dance Hall (Depending on turnout). I originally started this with the “Pot-Luck” idea, but I’ve found it’s easier for me to just pick up everything, and for people to make a donation to help defray the cost of the BBQ. (Any overages will be donated back to the NEC)
Last years fare included Smoked country style ribs, Smoked kielbasa, grilled chicken, burgers and dogs, my home-made baked beans, Potato, Mac, and Garden salads, Cole Slaw, and some great desserts home-baked by a couple of the participants.
PLEASE let me know if anyone has special dietary requirements. If I can’t provide it, I’ll gladly cook it for you!
What to bring:
Bike, helmet (MANDATORY), cycling gear, spare tube, pump, sunblock, cell phone…
Swim suit, towel, folding chair, and whatever you’d like to have as a beverage at the BBQ (Adult or otherwise). There is a convenience store less than a mile from my house if you’ve forgotten anything, or would like to pick it up on the way here.
The route will be marked EXACTLY as the NEC route, you’ll be given an almost identical trip-tik, and the SAG vehicles will be signed EXACTLY as they will be on the NEC.
