Thursday, Day 6 Killington VT 5:30 AM
As I was driving along, I wrote us a song… Sung to the theme of Smokey and the Bandit:
Southbound and down,
loaded up and truckin’
We’re gonna do what they say can’t be done
We’ve got a long way to go
and a short time to get there
I’m southbound, just watch ol’ Gearman run.
Got to stand up on those pedals,
son never mind those brakes,
let it all hang out cause we’ve got a run to make.
We’ve got the time if you’ve got the ducket
you gotta keep that cycle truckin,
we’ll get it done no matter what it takes..
