1:00 PM Sunday, Day 2 from Biddeford, ME.
Hi gang,
Well, it seems internet access is the biggest issue we’ve had so far-
Truck loading went off without a hitch on Friday, the only thing out of the ordinary was that most f the stuff was in Manchester this year. We picked up 500 pounds of ice, 400 gallons of water, 160 pounds of bananas, 8 cases of oranges, and 5 cases of watermelon…
I need a bigger truck…
Saturday had one slight medical issue, a rider took a fall, and got some road rash- He powered on, and is still riding as the main pack of riders approaches University of New England in Biddeford, ME.
Last night’s raffle had some great t-shirts brought by riders, some included local bike shops, fire departments, A ride in Indiana, and variegated chachki’s brought by the ADA staff. We also had John donate a heart monitor watch, and a seat post bag- He’s got some other great stuff for later on in the week, so I’m not going to spoil the surprise.
Funny, but this year we have more fresh fruit than we could ever possibly need, everyone seems to be eating chips, and peanut-butter crackers…
If they don’t start eating some of it, I’m going to start raffling it off…
There was an individual who won’t be named that forgot to erase one of last year’s “Dan Henry’s” when he changed the route this year- He will be dealt with in an appropriate fashion this evening…
Hopefully, I’ll be able to find internet access on a more regular basis as the week continues. In the meantime, I have to get back to my truck.
Check back soon!

Hi There –
Day 1 and 2 were both lovely weather – sunshine and warmth. Apparently your “sun dances” have been working. Keep it up!
Gearman hides my luggage and makes me search for it forever. One of these days, I’ll return the favor.
Carry on New England Classic!
Enjoy
Internet connections:
You found it in Biddeford, apparently.
At Attitash, there’s a public workstation in a little closet near the restrooms on the lobby floor. Ask at the desk. It’s down a hallway by the elevators.
Montpelier is new, so I don’t know. But you’re right in town center, so there will be a coffee shop somewhere at least.
I couldn’t find one in Killington, but Cathy E. was able to connect somehow.
Franklin Pierce has public terminals in the library. Barbara S. knows where they are.
Todd, great info, I’m sure it will be a big help as the week progresses.
