Already longing for those days when four hours on the road means a 60-mile bike ride on a beautiful summer day, rather than 20 miles in a snowstorm, in your car on the highway? Do you miss hanging with a crowd that’s proud to sport spandex in public? Well have we got a can’t-miss event for you!
It’s the American Diabetes Association’s New England Classic Rider Reunion and Roundup, fittingly scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2 – that’s right, Groundhog Day. Whether that rodent sees his shadow or not we’re getting together to reminisce, share photos, make plans for next July, welcome new riders, and those interested in joining us for your favorite adult summer camp for cyclists. We’re just starting to put together plans for the 2008 NEC and this is a chance to put in your 2 cents on the route, rest stops or anything else you care to make suggestions about.
Remember: This is your ride and it’s our fight. Our fight to help the ADA as it works to find a cure for diabetes and improve the lives of people affected by it every day. So please join us to experience a little bit of July in February in the Grace Conference Room, Higgins University Center at Clark University in Worcester from 1 p.m. to 4 pm.
