Winter riding

Urban Velo has published their Winter Survival Guide. Some good reading and advice there.
I find riding comfortable down to about 20 degrees. How about you? Do you commute through the winter? Do you road ride through the winter? The Fells and Blue Hills off-road trails are off limits for MTBs from Jan 1 through Apr 15, but do you off road anywhere else? Do you strap your bike to a trainer and ride with Lance for the winter? Or do you just pack in for the winter?
